Mr. Bott, Intellitech's founder and
principal consultant, has extensive experience and education in both
science and business. Before becoming a computer consultant, he was
Project Manager for New Product Development for a Fortune 500
company. He has considerable engineering experience in proposal
writing, project planning, schedule and cost tracking and control.
He is experienced in manufacturing process documentation. He has
supervised R&D, quality control, engineering, and manufacturing
personnel during development, training, and pilot production of new
products. He also has experience working as a research chemist and
as a research biologist.
Mr. Bott has been working with personal
computers since their inception. He has programmed in various
xBase dialects (dBase, FoxPro, Clipper, FiveWin/Harbour (xBase
for Windows), and C# for .NET. Mr. Bott has developed custom
software for the aerospace, banking, lending, stock market, medical,
food, electronic, pharmaceutical, service and other industries. This
includes accounting, statistics, graphics, quality control,
manufacturing and other programs. He also has extensive knowledge in
off-the-shelf software.
Mr. Bott has managed R&D,
engineering, production, sales, and telemarketing MIS systems. Since
1985, he has been assisting numerous businesses, large and small, to
setup and run PC computer systems.
He has had formal training in
communications including writing and speaking skills. He has
lectured on software to various groups including teaching at a local
university.
Mr. Bott holds a B.S. in Biology from San
Diego State University and a Certificate in Engineering Management
from the University of California, San Diego (essentially a M.B.A.
with emphasis on engineering).
His unique combination of technical and
business management skills gives him an exceptional capability to
provide computer solutions to business problems.
